Generals F.A.Q.
The rate displayed on the site includes the tour accompaniment and planning service, while in general services such as vehicle rental, tastings and activities, insurance, etc. are not included and will be paid directly to the various service providers.
The guide fee must be paid 50% in advance by bank transfer and the remaining 50% on site on the day of the excursion. Any rentals and extra activities will have to be paid on site or in advance at the discretion of the service providers.
You can cancel free of charge with a full refund of the guide/planning fee up to 1 month before the excursion. In the event of a no-show or cancellation by the participants after that deadline, the amount paid cannot be refunded but, at the discretion of the organization, a coupon of the same paid value valid for a new excursion within the year may be issued in progress.
In case of light rain or overcast skies, excursions will take place as normal. In the event of conditions that will not allow the day to be carried out safely (heavy showers or forecast of thunderstorms etc...), the excursion may be canceled by the organizer with a full refund of the fee paid. Please note: in summer and autumn, afternoon thunderstorms are unpredictable and frequent: in the event of violent showers once the excursion has already begun you will not be entitled to refunds.
Unfortunately no, I don't have any rental vehicles available but I only rely on professionals in the sector for my excursions, chosen by me from time to time based on the tour we will have to carry out and their availability.
No problem! The days can be combined with each other and it is possible to visit different areas. Each excursion is counted as a single excursion, so each day will have its own starting point with its own program and times. And if you would like an all-inclusive package (dinner, hotel etc...), your request will be forwarded to Tour Operators specialized in experiences in Langhe and Monferrato with whom I collaborate regularly.
E-BIKE F.A.Q.
Would you like to discover the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato by E-bike? Discover all the Ebike Tours.
No, it's not difficult, and I will show you how to best master this fantastic vehicle and enjoy your experience to the fullest!
No, it's a false myth! The e-bike engine helps you on challenging climbs and makes the pedaling easier on long stretches, but it is still a sport and should be approached as such.
The proposed tours have various levels of technical difficulty, mileage and difference in altitude: after a self-assessment of your technical skills on the bike, please choose the one that comes closest to your experience with two wheels. Tours with high difficulty are usually on dirt roads and over 40km in length, while those with low difficulty take place entirely on asphalt and with limited mileage.
No problem: tell me when booking and I will increase/decrease the technical level to get closer to your needs.
If the tour takes place on land and the route is impracticable due to too much mud, the routes will be modified so that we can enjoy the day even on asphalt or slightly muddy paths.
In general, hires have a 'bike + customer' service available, with a surcharge that varies depending on the mileage they cover to pick us up. Don't worry, however: most tours are designed as a loop, so in case you get tired, you can return to base briefly at any time without any effort.
The quantity of alcohol intake is entrusted to the common sense of each of the participants. If a participant is unable to continue a tour due to a clear state of alteration due to alcohol abuse, the tour will be suspended for the entire group and the restart will be at the discretion of the guides.
A helmet is ALWAYS compulsory during excursions and is ALWAYS provided during a rental. In the case of your own vehicle, be sure to bring it with you!!!
No, they are not compulsory as none of the proposed tours will be on bike parks or downhill slopes.
Absolutely yes!!! If some members of the group or even the whole group have their own means at their disposal, you can choose to leave wherever you are, at the hotel or at the start of a route designed by me.
Of course, with a small surcharge for transport to the place of departure at the hirer's discretion should you need the means, or free of charge should all the means at your disposal already be at your hotel (owned or hired directly from the hotel).
Each rental has its own policy regarding mechanical damage or accidents: the renter will be available on site to clarify these delicate aspects.
Yes, children are allowed, but there are no e-bikes under size 24 inches. Therefore, if there are children under 1.50m in height, a special route will be designed with the possibility of adding trolleys or special seats to a participating adult's e-bike.
VESPA F.A.Q.
Would you like to discover the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato by Vespa? Discover all the Vespa Tours.
Unfortunately, tour participants who have no experience, even minimal, of driving any type of scooter or motorcycle are not admitted: the tours are NOT a driving school, therefore they will not be taught how to use a vehicle on the road.
The Vespa is a single-speed scooter, so if you have experience on motorbikes or scooters in general, riding is very simple and fun.
All rental Vespas are 125 cc single-gear, so by law it is mandatory to have at least a B licence.
The B licence is valid at European level or an international licence for those from a non-EU country.
The proposed tours have various levels: after a self-assessment of your technical driving skills, please choose the one that comes closest to your experience with two wheels. Tours with high difficulty are usually long, with high mileage and on winding roads, those with low difficulty have several stops and a very low average speed.
No problem: tell me when booking and I will increase/decrease the technical level to get closer to your needs.
Each rental has its own policy regarding mechanical damage or accidents: the renter will be available on site to clarify these delicate aspects.
Of course, the driving will be more delicate but there is no problem touring on wet asphalt.
The legal limit in Italy for alcohol intake is 0.5 grams/litre. The amount of alcohol intake is left to the common sense of each participant. In general, during wine tastings in the cellar the amount of wine is low and containers are available to empty glasses that one does not want to finish. Should a participant be unable to continue a tour due to a clear state of impairment from alcohol abuse, he/she will be automatically excluded from the tour without the right to a refund.
A helmet is ALWAYS compulsory during excursions and is ALWAYS provided during a rental. In the case of your own vehicle, be sure to bring it with you!!!
Yes, all Vespas are bi-seater, so no problem. Children over 5 years of age are allowed under the supervision and responsibility of an adult.
ATV F.A.Q.
The ATV is a quadricycle that has similar characteristics to cars and motorcycles in that it has four wheels but one handlebar. It's not difficult to ride it but you need to pay close attention to the briefing during the tour if it's your first time trying it.
A B driving licence is compulsory.
The B licence is valid at European level or an international licence for those from a non-EU country.
Each hire company has its own policy regarding mechanical damage or accidents: you will be given contact details with the hire company at the time of booking in order to clarify these sensitive aspects.
Of course, driving will be more delicate but there will be no problem carrying out the tour on wet asphalt or mud.
No problem, most tours are designed in loops, so in case you get tired, you can return briefly to the base at any time without any problems.
The legal limit in Italy for alcohol intake is 0.5 grams/litre. The amount of alcohol intake is left to the common sense of each participant. In general, during wine tastings in the cellar the amount of wine is low and containers are available to empty glasses that one does not want to finish. A full-face helmet is ALWAYS compulsory during excursions and is ALWAYS provided during a rental. In the case of your own vehicle, be sure to bring it with you!!!
Yes, all ATVs are two-seater, so no problem. Children over 5 years old can legally participate in the tour but it is highly discouraged as they are unstable and have low physical resistance. We ask that you participate with children at least 10 years old who will obviously be admitted under the supervision and responsibility of an adult.
Absolutely!!! In the event that some members of the group or even the entire group have their own vehicles available, you can choose to start directly at the start of a route designed by me.
NCC F.A.Q.
NCC stands for rental with driver, in short you rent a car with a driver who will drive the car for you.
Absolutely not, only the driver, who has a driver's licence and is registered with the chamber of commerce of the province where he wants to carry out the activity, may drive the car, which must have a special municipal plate to be in order.
The price varies according to the mileage and time of the tour, as well as the type of vehicle chosen based on the number of people and luggage in tow.
The hire car must be booked and paid for in advance on a pre-arranged route from the outset, also so that there are no surprises later on.
If the route is shortened in kilometres, there is no problem but you are not entitled to any reimbursement. On the contrary, if you want to increase the mileage you will have to pay a surcharge based on the extra kilometres travelled.
No, the rate only changes according to the type of car and not the number of people, and it is only possible to have a different rate if payment has not been made and a cheaper car is available.
Of course, that's what the NCC is for! You won't have to worry about the blood alcohol limit as the driver will drive for you, and by law his limit is zero grams/litre. However, it is forbidden to drink and eat inside the car. ATTENTION!!! If a participant is unable to continue a tour due to a clear state of psychophysical alteration due to alcohol abuse, he or she will be automatically excluded from the tour without the right to a refund. Drink responsibly!!!
It is not possible to drink, eat or smoke in the car.
Yes, all children are admitted and are cash as 1 full passenger.
Absolutely!!! If you have your own car, I can drive up with you and show you the most scenic direction and tell you about the beauty of the area.
Of course, I am available for travel throughout Italy and abroad.
